Release of Client Portal
Client Portal
It has been over 18 months in the making, but it is finally here. Our new client portal launches next week with the first 2 apps embedded in it. This will make it much easier for our clients enter or modify, print compliance reports on demand, and construct a disaster recovery plan. In the post, I鈥檓 going to give a high-level overview of the platform and one of the apps available in the platform. (I will post about the disaster recovery application separately).
The GRC
We鈥檝e had the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) app for some time now, but it has been only available to our analysts. For those you unfamiliar with a GRC, it is a tool meant to help organizations keep track of their maturity of their control structure to achieve given objectives. We launched the GRC in 2020 to help our clients obtain compliance with regulatory requirements involving cybersecurity frameworks.
Our GRC works by choosing the framework to be used, in most cases it is a form of NIST. We then have a battery of questions that the app asks the client to populate their control structure, as it relates to the specific framework.
Once that information is obtained the GRC stores that data and print a report with both the controls the organization has in place and improvements that can be made to mitigate risks to the related objective. It also has a neat matrix that lets the organization know at-a-glance their maturity to the objectives.
Crucially, the GRC also allows for the upload of policy and procedure and for our clients, we can create those and upload those directly to the portal and the client can simply pull them down.
We are excited to release this platform and are working to add other apps to it (Hint: Patch Management Dashboard).
